This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of group counseling behavior self-management techniques reduce nomophobia in MAN 03 Bener Meriah students. research was a quasi-experimental quantitative with non-equivalent control design. The population this were all students Meriah. purposive sampling technique used because sample should consist nomophobic Based on technique, 14 determined and divided into two groups, seven as other experimental group. scale instrument, while Wilcoxon signed-rank test analyze data. findings showed that could among evident from analysis results Signed rank test; Zcount value -2.375 b Asymp.Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.018 or probability below alpha 0.05 (0.018 ≤ 0.05), indicating significant difference between pretest scores post-test
